Mind+Heart+Body Meditation
This simple meditation is good for integrating the Heart, the Mind & the Body, especially when they seem to be at odds with each other. It utilizes the vertical access of the nervous system which is particularily useful in bringing the Spirit & Form aspects of ourSelves into greater alignment.

Begin by sitting comfortably & closing your eyes. Then either visualize the vertical flow of the infinity sign with your inner eye, or actually trace the line with your eyes while keeping them closed, to further integrate the neurology.
You can do this either between the Mind+Heart or the Heart+Body or all three. Notice that the flow first crosses in the neck, which can be a "bottleneck" for many of us with old stress & trauma tension literally creating a "log jam" between our feeling & thinking processes. This often inhibits our ability to "speak our truth".
This can then be followed by the Heart+Body visualization, which crosses at the solar plexus. This has a lot to do with helping our body to feel safe with the heart openings & expansions that one is experiencing that can trigger old stress & trauma.
Finally, you can incorporate all three together & even acknowledge the pineal & pituitary glands in the head connecting with the base of the spine in the coccyx & perineum. End with the eyes at rest & simply notice what you feel in your Mind+Heart+Body after the exercise.
