Anxiety Meditation - "Shaking" Exercise

Meditation for Anxiety

Today I am offering this short video in support of all the people who have been suffering stress, anxiety & panic in the face of so much uncertainty in the world. I have utilized this simple exercise & somatic meditation for years to help move energy through & out of my body.  

Whether it is due to a recent or old trauma, the accumulated tension from repression of our true expression, or just the intensity & shifting of collective energy, this is the best way I have ever found to help encourage the body & nervous system to find a natural path to release it & restore a greater sense of peace.

There are many cultures that have practices like these that are intended to assist the person who is on a path of personal transformation to encourage the body to remember it's natural ability to maintain a balanced flow of energy. And in turn, this assists the mind in settling down, allowing greater peace & clarity.

It may not be a cure-all for everything, but it can often provide some immediate relief for a plethora of symptoms & if combined with a period of self-inquiry meditation at the end it can help us get in touch with that unlimited divine presence that is always here for each of us. For in the end it is only our ability to live with this greater peace & awareness that will ultimately offer the true freedom we seek, which indeed has been waiting for us right here all along.

I have found this “Shaking/Vibration” exercise & meditation to be especially useful in restoring circulation & energy discharge to the hands & feet & arms & legs of the periphery nervous system. It is a great way to begin what I now call the “spiritual reclamation of the body” & establish a functional flow of energy that prepares the way for core energy releases later on.
